Spent Sunday evening making my avatar look just so. Can't get rid of this dorky hat thing on her head - looks like a twisted jester hat. Also, turned out I was working on my appearance out in the public square instead of in the place where you're supposed to be doing that sort of thing. Oops! Anyway - drove a car, but got out of my car before I saw my instructions to run over any mechanical rats I saw (I saw a couple).Very new territory, but what alarms me most is the possibility that I might take to this. No time, no time!!

My husband attended an actual conference held in Second Life. His avatar sat in a chair and watched a powerpoint presentation. The government is thinking of using it as a virtual conferencing tool.
On the other hand, we went on Second Life while ago and all we could find were hookers and porn shops. Obviously we were in the bad part of town. Could not find the good part! I think I'd rather fight monsters too. Too much like the Sims.
