Okay, I get Web2.0, but Web 3.0?

I understand Web 2.0. (admittedly, mostly after the fact).  Everybody provides content.  Hence, in the beginning anyway, that content is based on what we know best; Us.  I provide content, you provide content, and so it's no surprise that we both think the content we provided is pretty interesting. It's what I wrote about in "My 23 Things" for Not Checked In (to the tune of "My Favorite Things" from "The Music Man") to wit:
It's about ME, all about ME!
Me's what I like most.
I tweet and I post cause me's what I like most,
Yes, I like Me MOST of ALL!

SO. What about Web3.0?
The slideshow below (prior post) says everybody provides content, and everybody's an entrepreneur, and, loosely speaking, everybody makes money.  Well I sort of get that.  Like with apps. Everybody and their uncle is creating these little programs, and many catch on.  [And $.99 x N (where "N" is any REALLY BIG number) = LOTS  O' MONEY]. But beyond this example, I'm not sure I see all the money making opportunities. More examples, please .

Posting my pictures on Facebook and Flickr
Tweeting each thought that I'm thinking on Twitter
Uploading new cellphone ringy-ding-dings
These are a few of my 23 Things

Using iPhone GPS to find dinner,
Flirting on Second Life, where I'm much thinner,
Dressing my avatar, emptying cache
Moving my friends that are boring to trash!

It's about ME, all about ME!
Me's what I like most.
I tweet and I post cause me's what I like most,
Yes, I like Me MOST of ALL!

Searching ancestry.com for aunt Helen
Learning most of my ancestors were felons
Delicious bookmarking, Text-messaging -
Just a few more of my 23 things.

Finding my hair IQ, taking health quizzes
Learning I'm bi-polar, tending to frizz
Regretting that movie we made for YouTube
I told you, when it went viral, "We're screwed!!"

It's about ME, all about ME!
Who wouldn't be enthralled?!
I tweet and I post cause me's what I like most,
Yes, I like Me MOST of ALL!
