Question
In the category of, 'Things I've needed to know how to do for a long time but never took the time to investigate', or Tintkhtdfaltbntttti, here's a question: In Outlook, I have distribution lists, and I have the same in my gmail acct. If I'm sending a NYTimes article from the NYTimes site, I always have to look up the email addresses of people I want to send it to; i.e., go to my email and look at my contacts list, then go back and forth to include all the email addresses of the people I want to send something to. Is there a way to transfer your distribution list to the box on the site that is less labor intensive (yes, I understand it's probably easier to copy the article and send it via your own email acct)?

If you have a feed from the NYT on your Google Reader, you can e-mail to a group in your Gmail contacts. You need to know the name of the group though, or at least the first letter. Google obligingly lets you choose from all "S" contacts, for instance, including groups. I do not know of a fast way to do this directly from an online version of a newspaper other than having an MS Word list with the right punctuation that you can paste into the address box.
